How do I become a Citi Priority customer?

Citi Priority status is awarded to clients with $75,000 or more deposited or invested through Citibank. To get started, talk to a Personal Banker today.

How is my Total Relationship Balance calculated?

Your Total Relationship Balance is calculated based on the following criteria:
(i) the average monthly balance of your savings and deposits accounts; and/or
(ii) the average monthly value of your investments

When will I get my debit card? Is it ready to use right away?

Your debit card is issued once your account is opened6 . Activating your card is easy. Simply log on to Citibank Online, and select 'My Profile', and then 'Card Activation'.

How do I set my ATM PIN?

You can set up your ATM pin by signing into Citibank Online. Click here to watch how easy it is.

How do I activate my telephone PIN (T-PIN)?

To set up or change your TPIN please contact 13 24 8413 24 84. You can also change your TPIN through our self-service menus.

How do I deposit money into my account?
To maximise your benefits with Citi, simply fund your account(s) in any of these simple ways:
  • Log in to Citibank Online to set up a deposit/funds transfer to your Citibank account regularly
  • Visit any Citibank branch during banking hours to deposit either cash or cheques7

Global Banking

3Remote account opening is available to the UK, US, Hong Kong and Singapore from Australia.

4Citibank Global Transfers is available from Citibank Australia to eligible Citibank accounts in selected countries/destinations. Daily transfer limit applies. Funds are converted to the destination account currency at the exchange rate specified to you on Citibank Online before you confirm your transaction. This exchange rate includes a commission for the conversion service. Subject to local regulations; transfers will normally reach destination account immediately, but in some cases may take 24 hours.

5Emergency cash: If you ever misplace your wallet or get caught in a bind while travelling, you may be able to access your money at a Citibank branch. Available in selected countries. Withdrawal limits/transaction fees vary based on country.

6If you have already been issued with a debit card or require more than one signatory to operate your account, a debit card will not be issued.

7Cash deposits and deposits from any source outside of Australia are not permitted for your Citibank Online Saver account.
