Fixed Payment Options

Fixed Payment Options are features of your account which allow you to request part of or all of your available credit limit, to be converted into an instalment loan.

Your instalment loan interest is lower than the Standard Annual Percentage Rate, you choose your repayment terms and you can set up an instalment loan online, without the need to talk to us. You're in control.

There are two types of Fixed Payment Options

There are two types of Fixed Payment Options

  • Click for Cash
  • Buy. Convert. Save.

This feature allows you to sign into your account and request cash, up to your available credit limit, at a reduced interest rate. Minimum request amount is $5001.

This feature is available when you have eligible purchases you would like to convert into an instalment loan and pay less interest. Minimum request amount is $1,0001.

A Fixed Payment Option takes part of or all of your existing available credit and converts it into an instalment loan, at a promotional interest rate.

Once set up you will be sent a letter within 7 - 10 working days to confirm the details of your Fixed Payment Option.

Your repayments will appear on your monthly statement, for the term chosen at Monthly Instalments will appear on your statement as and will be part of the Minimum Payment Due.

Eligible purchases are transactions of $1,000 or more which are unbilled. Unbilled transactions are purchases made, before your next statement date.

How to create a Fixed Payment Option

  • Using your PC
  • Using your Mobile

Step 1Sign into your account from your PC and go to My Offers (Fixed payment Options are subject to eligibility therefore this feature may not be available at all times).

Step 2Click the tile in My Offers and you'll be directed to the Fixed Payment Option form.

Step 3Complete and submit the request form by selecting how much you would like to request, repayment terms and details of the bank you would like the cash transferred to.

Step 4Review what you've selected to ensure it's correct, then review/accept Terms & conditions before you submit.

Step 1Sign into the Citi Mobile® app

Step 2 From the menu select 'Fixed Payment Option (FPO)

Step 3Select the fixed Payment Option for you - 'Convert Funds' is the Click for Cash feature; 'Convert a Transaction' is the Buy. Convert. Save. Feature

Step 4 Follow the prompts, read terms and conditions and click 'Submit'

How your Instalment Loan appears on your statement

How your Instalment Loan appears on your statement

If you have one or more Fixed Payment Options the details will appear on your monthly statement under your transaction list. Information will include how many repayments you've made, how many are remaining and what your agreed monthly repayment should be.

Monthly instalment loan repayments are in addition to cash advances and purchases, balance transfers, fees and charges. Your total monthly minimum will appear on the top right hand corner of your statement, which incorporates your instalment(s) for the month.

Making additional repayments on your Fixed Payment Option

Making additional repayments on your Fixed Payment Option

If you wish to make an additional payment towards your Fixed Payment Option, before making the payment you must send a secure message and allow up to two working days for a confirmation. Once you have received confirmation, you can then make the additional repayment.

How to send a secure message
  1. Sign into your account
  2. Click Service menu
  3. Select My profile
  4. Select My messages
Information to include
  1. Your Fixed Payment Plan number for which you would like the additional repayment applied to
  2. The extra amount you would like to pay
Please note

If you make a payment which exceeds the minimum payment due plus any overdue amount, the excess amount will be applied to pay the balance of your account (excluding the outstanding balance of the Fixed Payment Option). If the Fixed Payment Option is your only outstanding balance, then any additional payment will be allocated to it.
