General FAQs

What is the interest rate on purchases when using my Linked Diners Club Card?

Any interest free periods applying to your retail purchase balances on your Citi Account will also apply to any Linked Diners Club Transfer Amounts (a transfer of balance from your Diners Club Card to your Citi Credit Card). This is because Linked Diners Club Transfer Amounts will be treated as a purchase, and will form part of the ‘Retail Purchase Balance’ on your Citi Account for all purposes including charging interest under clause 8 of the Citi Terms and Conditions.

Therefore, any Interest will be charged at the annual percentage rate on your Citi Credit Card.

Will I be entitled to interest free days?

As per the response to the above question, all transactions made on the Linked Diners Club Card are transferred to your Citi Credit Card, and any interest free periods that apply to your retail purchase balances on your Citi Credit Card will also apply to your Linked Diners Club Card.

Will a separate statement be sent out for the Linked Diners Club Card?

If you have made transactions on your Linked Diners Club Card within the statement cycle, there will be two separate statements enclosed together, one for your Citi Credit Card and one for your Linked Diners Club Card.

Do I need to pay the Linked Diners Club statement?

The Diners Club statement also forms part of the statement for your Citi Credit Card account. For each transaction, Citi has paid Diners Club the transaction amount on or about each transaction date, so you do not need to pay these amounts to Diners Club. The Diners Club statement is for your information only. To see the amount due on your Citi account and Points earned, please refer to your Citi Credit Card statement.

When will my Linked Diners Club Card transactions be transferred to my Citi account?

Transactions made using your Linked Diners Club Card will be transferred to your Citi Credit Card account each time you make a transaction or on a daily basis.

If I cancel the Linked Diners Club Card, will the final Points be transferred over to my Citi Credit Card?

Yes. Points will be awarded for Eligible Transactions up until you cancel your Linked Diners Club Card.

Will cash withdrawals be available on the Linked Diners Club Card?

ATM access will not be available on the Linked Diners Club Card

Will I be able to use my Linked Diners Club Card for BPAY?
