User ID
To create your User ID sign on to Citibank Online and select 'First Time User'. All you need to create your User ID is:
- Your 16 digit card number or Internet Access Number (IAN)
- Your ATM PIN or Internet PIN
- Account or credit card number
If you have a Citibank debit card and a Citibank Credit Card, we recommend that you use your Citibank debit card to create your User ID-that way you will be able to see all of your accounts, including your Citibank Credit Card.
Password:
If you need to change your online banking password, sign on to Citibank Online and select 'Change User ID/Password/ATM Pin' from the Quick Navigation menu. You will be prompted to enter your current online banking password and then to create your new password.
Security questions:
To change your security questions and answers, simply sign on to Citibank Online and select 'Edit Profile & Preferences' from the top right hand side corner, then select 'Change my security questions'. You will be required to answer one of your security questions, before you can reset all questions.
ATM PIN:
To change your ATM PIN simply sign on to Citibank Online and select 'Change User ID/Password/ATM PIN' from the Quick Navigation menu. You will be required to enter your current ATM PIN and your new ATM PIN using the floating keyboard. For security reasons we recommend you do not select a PIN number which represents your birth date, or an alphabetical Code/PIN, which is a recognisable part of your name.
Note: If you have more than one card (e.g. Citibank debit card and a Credit Card) then you can only change the ATM PIN for the card you used when you created your User ID.
