Using CitiPhone Banking
Citibank provides our customers with the power to control their own banking from anywhere, at any time. You have the freedom to do your own banking 24 hours a day, seven days a week, where ever you are in the world at a time that suits you.
Getting started is easy and simple, all you need to gain access to self-service phone banking is:
- Your Citibank card or your account number
- Your Telephone Personal Identification Number (TPIN)*
- *If you do not have a TPIN please call us on 13 24 84.
Using Citiphone Banking
You can contact us on 13 24 84 or + 61 2 8225 0615 if you are overseas. CitiPhone Banking is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Follow the easy directions to access information regarding your account. There is also an option to speak to a customer service officer if required to complete your enquiry.
Self Service Banking
For fast and convenient banking, use our self-service telephone banking system. Simply enter your Citibank card or account number followed by your Telephone PIN (TPIN).
Self-service telephone banking is an easy and efficient way to manage your account. It allows you to complete most of your account inquiries/requests without waiting in the queue to speak to a customer service officer.
Example: You want to know your last five deposits. Call Citibank 13 24 84 > Press option 1 > Enter Card number > Enter TPIN > Self Service Phone Banking Menu - Press option 4 > Select option 2 (Last five deposits).
Some of the other key functions of self service banking include:
- Account information, transfer funds and BPAY
- Order statements
- Order cheque books
- Order deposit books
- Lost and stolen cards
- Report lost or stolen cards
- Card activation
- Activate new credit card
- Activate new Citi Cards
- New business and general information
- Enquire about or apply for Citibank products
- Application progress
- Check the progress of a recent application
In addition to accessing self service telephone banking, by entering your unique TPIN every time you call CitiPhone Banking, it allows your account information to be automatically populated to our customer service officers. This means that you will save time on the phone and can have your enquiry or problem resolved faster.
If you have a Citibank account but don't know your TPIN and would like to know your account balance, you can still access your account balance using your date of birth. If you would like a TPIN please speak to a customer service officer who can arrange one for you on the spot.
Your Telephone Pin (TPIN)
When calling Citibank, you will be required to enter your Citibank card number or account number and your Telephone Pin (TPIN).
You can change your TPIN through self service banking by choosing option six on the main menu.
Your TPIN should be kept private and secure to ensure that your account information is protected.
