| Citibank Drops Credit Card Rates |
|
| Thursday 4th October 2001: |
|
| Citibank today announced it will reduce its credit card interest rates by 0.25 percent. |
|
| This decrease provides all Citibank credit card customers with the full benefit of yesterday's Reserve Bank decision to reduce the cash rate by 25 basis points. |
|
| The new rate will apply to all Citibank Silver, Gold and Platinum Visa and MasterCards, all of which offer a highly regarded Rewards programme, including retail products, store vouchers, charity redemption options and Qantas Frequent Flyer Points. |
|
| Effective from November the interest rate on all Citibank credit cards will be 17.45%. |
