Citibank Update On Refunds For Unused Ansett Tickets
Sydney, September 17, 2001 -
Citibank today reassured Citibank credit cardholders it will refund unused tickets on Ansett Australia which have been charged to a Citibank Visa or Mastercard, provided:
The Ansett ticket has not been honoured by another carrier, or
The cardholder has not claimed and received a refund through insurance
The cardholder must continue to pay their monthly credit card statement (including the Ansett Australia purchase) and wait until after the scheduled return journey before requesting a refund.
When claiming for a paper-based ticket, the Citibank cardholder should send a registered letter enclosing the ticket to :

If an e-ticket is held, Citibank cardholders should write to the above address or fax to: (02) 8225 5026
The letter/fax should include:
Name, account number, contact number signature of primary cardholder
Details of transaction - amount, date appearing on statement
Evidence of booking
