Transfer funds around the world in the blink of an eye with the Citibank Global Transfer (CGT) service. With no transfer fees, CGT is an easy and cost effective way to send and receive funds internationally1.
CGT allows you to use Citibank Online to transfer funds easily to and from Citi accounts in 27 countries worldwide. Transfer funds abroad from your Citi Australia Account and receive deposits from participating Citi locations around the world.
To take advantage of this service you need to hold eligible Citibank accounts in the countries you wish to transfer to.

Transferring money to non-Citibank accounts overseas (charges may apply)
Transfer Money Abroad is a convenient way of sending money to a non-Citi account overseas. Please note that charges may apply. Visit our schedule of fees for more information.
To transfer money abroad to a non-Citi account, simply logon to Citibank and click
Select Add a New Biller/Payee
Check if your mobile number is correct and click on Next
Under Payee Type select Payee in another country, fill in the details and click next
Activate the payee using the Online Activation Code sent to you
When you are ready to transfer funds, click on the Bill Payments & Transfers tab and follow these steps
Select the payee under Transfer Money Abroad
Select the account you wish to transfer from
Enter the transaction details
Review and then confirm the transaction
1. If your Account has a limited number of fee-free withdrawals, the standard $2 excess withdrawal fee will apply when you exceed your limit. Free international transfers available from selected Citibank Australia accounts to Citibank accounts in 27 countries worldwide using Citibank Global Transfers. Daily transfer limit applies. Funds are converted to the destination account currency at the exchange rate specified to you on Citibank Online before you confirm your transaction. This exchange rate includes a commission for the conversion service.
2. Transfers will normally reach the destination account almost immediately after being effected, but in some cases (depending on the availability of processing facilities at the destination) may take a maximum of 24 hours.
